Best AI Headshot Generator Apps and Sites (2026)

Best of 2026Updated October 2026

Updated October 2026

The best AI headshot generator for a polished LinkedIn photo is a dedicated service that trains on your selfies: HeadshotPro, Aragon.ai or BetterPic, which sell one-time packages of 20 to 120 headshots from about $29 to $79. BetterPic also has a free plan of up to 10 headshots, but its free-tool page says free generations wait 60 to 90 days in a shared queue, that BetterPic asks permission to use the results in its own marketing, and that its comparison table says free photos may be used for marketing and AI training. On iPhone, Headshot AI Pro is built around headshots, and Jobim and Facetune include them as one feature among many.

No single tool wins for everyone. The right one depends on your budget, how many photos you want, and whether you need an app or a website.

We make Jobim, which is on this list, and we have tried to rank it fairly. This compares price, format and what each product says it does. We did not run the same selfies through every tool, so judge likeness on your own photos. Prices are from each product's own page as of October 2026.

How we chose: tools that came up in Google's top results for this search or the App Store search for AI headshots, where we could read pricing and features from the product's own page or listing. This is not a ranking by image quality.

BetterPic: a free plan with a long wait

BetterPic's free-tool page offers 10 finished headshots per free generation at 4K, with 5 AI Studio credits to restyle the ones you keep, and requires an account. The conditions matter: it says free generations wait 60 to 90 days in a shared queue because paid ones are processed first, and that free headshots stay free because BetterPic asks permission to use the results in its own marketing. Its free-versus-paid comparison table lists the free tier's photo privacy as "Photos may be used for marketing and AI training" (the paid pack's as used only for your headshots, deleted on request). The page also says your selfies are uploaded to its servers, where your model is trained, and that you can delete them at any time by emailing support. Paid individual plans run $35, $39 and $79, with delivery times of 2 hours, 1.5 hours and 1 hour. Its free-tool page asks for 8 to 12 diverse selfies showing different angles, expressions and lighting, and its pricing page asks for around 8 casual phone photos. Its pages do not mention an iOS app.

Aragon.ai: clear tiers and a refund route

Aragon's pricing page lists three individual packages: Basic at $35, Standard at $45 and Executive at $75, with 40, 60 and 100 headshots. Higher tiers add more outfits and backgrounds, and the Executive tier lists a higher resolution. The page offers a full refund if you have not downloaded your photos and a free redo. It showed a 20 percent discount banner when we read it, so the final price may differ.

HeadshotPro: one-time headshot packages

HeadshotPro sells one-time packages from $29, up to $59 for 70 headshots with a 4K upscale, and says it has a 100 percent money-back guarantee. Its page says results come in under 30 minutes in most places, though a sample receipt on the same page says under 2 hours. It asks for a handful of selfies and has no free plan listed.

Headshot AI Pro: a headshot-only iPhone app

Headshot AI Pro, from MXY Ventures, lists 100-plus professional styles and says generation requires credits or a plan bought in the app. The App Store shows 4.64 stars from 3,310 ratings. The listing says photos are automatically deleted. It fits if you want an iPhone app and a long menu of styles, and you are prepared to pay before you see results.

Facetune: an editor with a headshot tool

Facetune, from Lightricks, is a retouching and editing app first. Its listing says it can turn any photo into a polished headshot in seconds with AI. It has 4.62 stars from 379,817 ratings. It is the better choice if you want to edit a photo you already have rather than generate a set from scratch.

Jobim: headshots as one of 50-plus styles

Jobim is an iPhone app for AI photos and photo repair. Its style list includes LinkedIn Headshots and Modeling Photoshoots among 50-plus styles, alongside dating-profile, creative and fitness looks. You create a profile from at least 3 reference photos of yourself. The app's tips screen says to avoid photos with watermarks or sunglasses.

It is not a headshot specialist, and it has only 3 App Store ratings because it is new. If a corporate headshot is all you need, a dedicated tool above is probably the better fit. It makes sense if you also want photo restoration, or other looks such as casual and social photos, in the same app. New accounts get 3 starter credits, and free exports carry a small Made with Jobim watermark.

How to get better results from any of them

  • Use varied, sharp selfies. Different angles, expressions and lighting give the model more to learn from. Blurry or filtered shots lower quality.
  • Skip sunglasses, hats and heavy filters. Occlusion and filters confuse the likeness.
  • Judge likeness, not polish. A headshot that looks like a better-looking stranger is the main failure. Ask someone who knows you which result looks like you.
  • Check the refund terms first. Aragon and HeadshotPro describe refund routes on their pages. Read the conditions before paying.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best AI headshot generator?

For a trained, professional-looking set, the dedicated services HeadshotPro, Aragon.ai and BetterPic are the usual choices, at about $29 to $79 for one-time packages. Which one is best depends on how many headshots you need and your budget, and likeness varies by person, so compare samples.

What is the best free AI headshot generator?

BetterPic's free-tool page offers up to 10 headshots at 4K, but says free generations wait 60 to 90 days in a shared queue, that BetterPic asks permission to use the results in its own marketing, and, in its comparison table, that free photos may be used for marketing and AI training. Jobim gives new accounts 3 starter credits on iPhone. Free results are limited, and tools change their free tiers often.

How many selfies do I need for an AI headshot?

It varies. BetterPic asks for 8 to 12 selfies on its free-tool page and around 8 on its pricing page, Jobim needs at least 3, and HeadshotPro and Aragon ask for a handful without a number on their pages.

Are AI headshots good enough for LinkedIn?

Quality is good enough on many tools, but the result must look like you. Pick the one that a colleague would recognize, and check any rules your employer or platform has about AI-generated photos.
